we went to see shrek 3 tonite. after all the bad reviews i read about it, i wasn't expecting much.

but what do critics know anyway?

i really liked it. didn't seem much different than the other shrek movies. still funny. not over the top either. still a good message too.

i loved it when the princesses got off their asses and actually did something. ha! it's about damn time!

anyway, i thought it was pretty hilarious and not too cheesy. i'd definitely recommend it, especially if you've seen the other two shreks.

i liked it way more than spiderman that's for sure. and i can't wait for the potc3 next weekend. weeeeeeee! but we saw 2 transformers trailers tonite, and that's the movie i really want to see now. i'm SO excited.

anyway, the weather sucked today. it was cold and miserable, but that's okay because i stayed inside and got some stuff done. i hemmed and mended a whole bunch of stuff that had been piled up and i cleaned the kitchen floor.

i'm thrilled that it's a long weekend! i can't wait to do next to nothing tomorrow! i've been sleeping in a lot and getting caught up on some stuff i've been neglecting. i was so stressed at work for a while there that i was really dragging to get through the week. and the weekends never seemed long enough to recuperate.

so it's nice to have an extra day to rest. and then i don't work until 3 on tuesday so i get to sleep in some more. hopefully that will be enough to get my brain back together.
