2007-04-21 - 10:49 a.m. last night's entry that i was unable to post because sometimes diaryland just sucks ass: today i paid off my visa. completely. and i'm not anywhere near broke! *yay* i've got over $1000 in my account, plus $100 in my pocket! today's paycheque was completely eaten by visa, but the rest of them are mine now! ...well, at least until i have to pay my insurance. but i think that's down to $1200 or even less. i'll just put it on my visa once i get the bill for it and pay it off in a couple of payments so as to not completely drain my bank account. it's been so damn long since i haven't had to freak out about money. i mean, i haven't been able to just save it for the sake of saving it since i was.... 17... ? i think. since then i've been saving it for school, saving it to pay things off. ugh. it's a nice feeling. and it's sunny and warm again! *hurray* i'm still fairly irritable today, but overall i'm feeling better. we took the dogs for a nice long walk tonite and drove around to look at a couple of houses. mike's sister had sent us the listings and we wanted to drive by them to see what they looked like and how big the yards were. we didn't really like any of them. i mean, one of the houses was great. the house and the yard were fantastic. but it was in one of those ugly newer neighbourhoods that make us claustrophobic, and the back yard was against a busy street. not cool. so we'll keep looking. anyway, i was doing dishes and just took a break to let some grossness soak. it should be ready now. since it's going to be nice all weekend, i think i'll plant some bulbs and get some seeds started. spring is fantastic! now, back to the dishes. daily dose of stupid:
