spring appears to have sprung. and my backyard is a swamp. as a result, my dogs are constant mudballs.

we had more snow than usual this winter and it melted quicker than usual. plus, we had a huge rainstorm yesterday. sooo much water, making sooo much mud.

crash got his first bath today. he didn't seem to mind at all. it was like watching a child (albeit a furry one) playing in the tub. he was hilarious!

he also got rained on for the first time yesterday. that was also very amusing. he couldn't figure out what was hitting him and kept snapping at the raindrops the way pumpkin snaps at bugs.

my tulips started to come up today too. they weren't there yesterday, but they're there today. i think something else is growing too. it might be tulips that i forgot about, but i'm pretty sure it's in a spot where i planted lilies and those don't usually come up until later.

aside from the death of winter, i really don't like spring much. well, i don't like the very beginning of it when all the filth that was hiding under the snow is revealed and everything is still barren.

give it a couple of weeks. the rains will have washed away the grossness, people will have picked up their trash, and things will start turning green again. and it will get even warmer! *yay warm*

and it will be safe to wash the floors. seriously. if anyone comes to visit me in the next week or two, i won't be offended if you leave your shoes on.

all right. i'm going to go try to finish the binded tonite. i WILL finish it this weekend!
