so, my day was somewhat of a shitastic fuck, but it could have been worse.

i mean, i didn't get hit by a bus or anything.

...unlike some chick on campus.

which i find amusing. yeah. i'm not always the nicest person. i take joy in other people's misery. there's a word for that... in german. if you know what it is, please let me know....

but how the hell do you get hit by a bus?

and i saw her, she was alive, moving. there was no blood. maybe a broken arm or something. could have been MUCH worse considering she was hit by a bus.

but the way people wander around campus completely oblivious to the world around them is just amazing. i gotta say, i'm really not surprised someone got hit. i always see people obliviously walking out in front of the busses on campus.

just last week i saw some asian kid go running across the intersection without looking at all where he was going. just as he ran in front of the bus, it started to accelerate. lucky for him, the driver was on the ball and managed to brake in time. but the damn kid didn't even notice! he damn near got creamed by a bus, but was too friggin self-absorbed to notice!

holy fucking shit!

dude, your mom tells you took both ways before you cross the street for a reason. and that counts on campus too you fucktards! jesus, there are busses and cater vans and security cars and those little golf cart things some of the workers use to get around, not to mention a plethora of people on roller blades, bikes and skate boards.

getting yourself hit by a bus is like winning the darwin awards. i'm all for stupid people taking themselves out of the gene pool. but there are an awful lot of them on campus. so get off your cell phone and put down the blackberry until you're off the roads and PAY FUCKING ATTENTION!!!
