so lots of fantastic and exciting stuff going on here lately! the dishwasher came early! *yay*

we're currently putting it through the test run. so far so good and it's almost done so i can do the pile of dishes that have been stacked up for a while now, just waiting for the magic dishwasher of love.

*ahem*

i did end up pulling my shoulder and straining my back helping mike get the damn thing into the house in the driving rain. we're under a tornado watch. cool!

also, NATHAN IS COMING TO VISIT!!!

it's for real this time. the funds are there, he got the time away from school. he'll get here on dec.6 and leave on dec. 10. i'm so freaking pumped! heh.

and i'm now the proud owner of my very own copy of "the tick tock people". it should get here on monday. i ordered it from amazon.com, and you can too. here is the info on that book.

okay, i'm off to enjoy my new dishwasher! ta ta for now!
